Healthy Canada by Design: Cross-Sector Innovation, Collaboration, and Evaluation in the Building of Healthier Communities

This session will provide participants with an overview of the Healthy Canada by Design partnership. Core to this initiative is translating the latest research on the linkages between health and the built form into tools to support planners, policy-makers, public health officials, developers, community and stakeholders in facilitating the creation of more health promoting communities.

The webinar includes time for participants’ dialogue and sharing of their work and experience. It is being hosted in partnership with the University of Ottawa’s CHNET-WORKS!, which brings together researchers, decision-makers and practitioners in population health from across Canada. This means there will be prime opportunities for planning professionals to network with colleagues in public health. CIP members who participate in this webinar can earn 1.5 Learning Units.
