CIP Leadership Retreat Yields Long-Range Strategic Plan
Under the guidance of facilitator Bud Crouch of Tecker Consultants LLC,CIP’s governing Council, committee chairs, and senior staff met over two days in June to establish a strategic direction for the Institute. Consisting of the envisioned future of CIP, along with measurable goals and milestones, this plan serves as a guide in focusing our energies on serving the needs of our membership and the planning profession as a whole. The plan includes a “big audacious goal”, that“CIP will be the leading advocate for urban policy and community building across Canada”.
