CIP Releases New Climate Change Policy

CIP understands that climate change is happening now and will affect all areas of the planning profession for the foreseeable future. As a part of the Institute's commitment to advocacy and the development of best practices, we are proud to present CIP's Policy on Climate Change. The launch of this policy is a proactive measure by CIP to inform and engage its members across Canada, as well as key stakeholders, governments, and the public on the planning profession’s response to climate change. The policy is available for download in English and French, and print copies will be distributed to our Affiliates, recognized university planning programs, and available upon request to members. We encourage all members to read the policy; it is the first of many steps CIP is taking to empower you against the impacts of climate change.
