Student Transportation Planning Assistant 2 Positions

– Fall 2010 “TransLink (The South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority) is one of North America’s most innovative transportation authorities, with the unique responsibility to move people and goods in an integrated road and transit network, while preserving and enhancing Metro Vancouver’s quality of life.” We provide training opportunities for undergraduate and graduate post-secondary students that support our business activities and policy research in the urban transportation field.

This is an ongoing program that will provide meaningful work term opportunities for students and feedback on their performance. We are looking for students passionate about urban transportation and land use. We will consider students with diverse academic backgrounds, particularly planning, urban studies, engineering, geography, economics and communications. Picture working on large-scale projects with people who are committed to making a difference in the everyday lives of people throughout the Lower Mainland -- moving them throughout their world, and shaping the transportation profile of this region.
