*ICSP: Integrated Community Sustainability Planning*

This 5-month certificate course is designed for municipal staff, consultants, community leaders, and others who are involved in community sustainability planning. It is based on the lessons and experiences of our experienced sustainability advisors, leading municipal governments, and our expert partners. Via a mixture of online seminars, guest speakers, in-person workshops, and applied project work, this course is designed to provide you with the practical knowledge, skills, and tools to lead long-term, participatory planning efforts toward sustainability in your community.

Who should take the course? This course is aimed at those who are leading and facilitating long-term planning efforts in their communities, in particular:
• Municipal staff and community leaders tasked with leading ICSP initiatives for their communities
• Consultants looking to improve their ability to support and facilitate ICSP efforts with clients
• Community leaders looking to learn and apply a sustainability planning process to engage other leaders in exploring and realizing long-term success in their communities.

After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:
• Understand the scientific basis of sustainability and bridge the gap between environmental, social, and economic interests
• Complete a sustainability analysis of your community to identify risks and opportunities
• Develop a common vision and sustainability plan with your team
• Build your capacity to lead sustainability initiatives in your community
