Nathalie Prud'Homme MCIP, OUQ

Nathalie Prud’homme is a member of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec. From the start of her career, she has been seeking to innovate urban planning by developing approaches that help meet the needs of specific clienteles in simple ways. She thus carried out, with the collaboration of the Société du patrimoine urbain de Québec, the project entitled, La ville imagée par l’enfant (the city from a child's perspective). This experience influenced the development of an innovating process in the structuring of neighbourhood plans.

For more than twenty years, she worked for Quebec City, as an urban planner, Director of Land Use planning, and Director of Land Management for the area of La Cité. Director of Planning and Architecture at the Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec from 2005 to 2011, Nathalie Prud’homme managed a team whose mandates were to develop several projects for the enhancement of urban and natural landscapes, as well as design and/or collaborate in projects associated with the highway transportation network, urban design, and public art.

For one year, Nathalie Prud’homme was the manager responsible for establishing a project management team for the Réseau de transport de la Capitale. She is currently the Director of Government and Municipal Affairs for Quebec City. For more than a decade, she was in charge of the syllabus for the Faculty of Planning, Architecture, Arts and Design at Université Laval. Throughout her career, she has spoken at numerous seminars on urban projects. Finally, she has served on boards of directors of various urban development companies.
