The 2021 Census is almost here
The 2021 Census is almost here! As you know, census data are critical to decision makers and Canadians from coast to coast to coast. National Volunteer Week 2021

The theme is a nod to our past, a reflection of our present, and a wink to our future.  The Value of One, the Power of Many was the theme for National Volunteer Week in 2001, The International Year of Volunteers. It beautifully reflects the individual and collective efforts, we have seen during the pandemic, and it sets the tone for re-imagining the next 20 years as the value of one act and the power of many enables us to thrive together.

Advancing Gender Equity at CIP

March 08, 2021 | Posted byPublié par : CIP
In September 2019, CIP approved its first-ever Gender Equity Policy, with a vision to, “demonstrate gender equity best practices across its operations and programs, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and fair professional environment with equitable access to resources and opportunities.” Implementation is on-going and always will be; however, since adopting the policy, we’ve held training for the Board of Directors and we’re proud to say that all CIP staff have completed their GBA+ training through the Status of Women. In January 2021, CIP became a signatory of the Government of Canada’s 50-30 Challenge, a framework to accelerate diversity in the leadership of Canadian organizations.
