In this webinar, we explored different approaches to planning for, and prioritizing social housing. The tools and methods demonstrated provided ideas for delegates on how to identify the best places for social housing, how to gain acceptance of social housing from local communities, and how to plan housing that is culturally appropriate for Indigenous communities.

Listen to Dave Hardy, RPP and "extreme facilitator", as he discusses how best to conduct challenging public meetings. Dave recently published the book "Who are these people and why are they yelling at me? The Art and Science of managing large angry public meetings".
Métis-Cree community planner and filmmaker Kamala Todd talked about how every Canadian city is an Indigenous City, and what that means for planning in the urban context and Jocelyn Joe-Strack shared her experiences of involvement with Comprehensive Community planning, reflecting on how her background as a scientist has influenced her understanding about how Indigenous approaches to planning can be crucial in tackling climate change.
