HICC strives to be an employer of choice, and this is a great place for students to learn and develop!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/housing-infrastructure.canada.ca\/index-eng.html\">Housing, Infrastructure, and Communities Canada<\/a> (HICC) is seeking up to three (3) graduate level students to support the Housing Infrastructure Policy Division (HIPD)\u2019s work in housing and infrastructure policy for current and upcoming federal funding programs. HIPD delivers on HICC&#8217;s mandate to use infrastructure funding to improve housing supply and affordability.<\/p>\n<p>The Division develops housing and infrastructure policy by understanding local and provincial contexts (e.g., urban\/regional planning trends, transportation, municipal financing) to inform negotiation strategies and place-based housing targets. It also gathers and disseminates information on municipal, provincial, and territorial policies and programs that impact housing and infrastructure delivery. DPLI met en \u0153uvre le mandat de LICC qui consiste \u00e0 utiliser les fonds destin\u00e9s aux infrastructures pour am\u00e9liorer l&#8217;offre et l&#8217;accessibilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re des logements.<\/p>\n<p>La Division \u00e9labore des politiques en mati\u00e8re de logement et d&#8217;infrastructures en tenant compte des contextes locaux et provinciaux (p. ex. tendances en mati\u00e8re d&#8217;urbanisme et d&#8217;am\u00e9nagement r\u00e9gional, transports, financement municipal) afin d&#8217;\u00e9clairer les strat\u00e9gies de n\u00e9gociation et les objectifs en mati\u00e8re de logement adapt\u00e9s au contexte local.
