Planning with the Duty to Consult

This webinar covered a broad introduction to the Native presence in Canadian life, the implications of Indigenous perspectives, and the impact of the “Duty to Consult” on Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities.
David & Carolyn discussed some basic principles for planners to apply and how these principles can fit within a planning participation approach, and what they may mean in terms of municipal and upper-level government plans.
