L’Institut canadien des urbanistes (ICU) lance un appel à candidatures pour son conseil d’administration pour le mandat 2026/2029.

C’est l’occasion pour vous de diriger, d’influencer et de défendre la profession d’urbaniste au Canada.

Postes à pourvoir :

Région 3 : Saskatchewan
Région 4 : Manitoba
Universitaire
Étudiant
Directeur général

Les mandats sont de trois ans, sauf le membre étudiant dont le mandat est de deux ans.

Conditions d’éligibilité :

Postes régionaux : MICU® ou FICU en règle
Universitaire : MICU® ou FICU en règle; membres à temps plein du corps enseignant d’un programme de planification d’une université canadienne accréditée
Directeur général : Ouvert aux membres et aux non-membres
Étudiant : Étudiant inscrit à un programme d’urbanisme agréé

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant experience at a strategic or policy-making level in a professional, government, non-profit or academic organization *

Sufficient time and availability to satisfy the Director’s responsibilities *

Reputation for ethical behaviour both personally and professionally *

Commitment to uphold and implement CIP’s established national policy priorities (Climate Change, Healthy Communities, Housing and Reconciliation) *

Commitment to uphold and implement CIP’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Roadmap *

Free of any conflict of interest that may impair the Director’s ability to make consistent and fair decisions in the best interests of the Institute *

Previous board experience or similar (for the student position, previous board experience is preferred, but not required). *

Financial, legal, governance, and business literacy through previous experiences *

Experience in a leadership role *

Understanding of CIP’s role, purpose, and strategic plan *
