This session focusses on “connectivity” and “well-being” and applies a spiritual lens to the work of planners. As planners we are constantly juggling deadlines, facilitating dialogues/conversations/discussions to generate solutions for everything to do with living (housing, land use, policy, environment, amenities, transportation, sustainability, the list is endless!). Today, urban planning has emerged as a social, political, and technical process that focusses on multiple complicated matters involving effective communication networks, and more importantly overall welfare of people.  It’s crucial that planners focus on their own well-being to be able to strategize, find effective solutions, and contribute to the greater good.
