When disaster strikes, who better to call upon than your neighbours? Neighbouring for Climate is a toolkit of action cards to make climate resilience at the local level easy and fun. Neighbours select actions that work best with their local assets, skills, interests, and ideas. Building community and helping each other to prepare for a changing climate can take shape in many ways, from preparing for an emergency to planting a garden, from conserving energy to sharing food. The program reflects the goals identified by community members: to be action-focused, easy and tangible, inclusive and accessible, shareable, and celebrated. Learn about the program, the co-design process to develop it, and lessons learned.
