As part of our commitment to providing greater value to our members, we have been working with the PTIAs on a new member services database. CIP is excited to share that the new database will be launched in full on November 1.

Please read below for important updates about these changes and what they mean for you.

New Member Area

  • Members will receive new login information by email shortly. NOTE: You will need to use your primary email on file with your PTIA to create your password the first time you log in. This would be the same email that you currently use to receive PTIA and CIP communications.
  • Once logged in, the new member area will allow you to update your contact information, communication preferences, record and view your CPL activities, renew and pay for your membership, and access member services and resources.
  • We are glad to announce that you will need only one login to access CIP and PTIA services.

Renewals

  • In most cases, you should expect your renewal notice in November/Early December. Please contact your PTIA for more information.

Professional Liability Insurance (PLI)

  • Members with PLI coverage have recently been notified by email about some important information and changes for this year’s renewal process and the purchasing of Professional Liability Insurance.
 In order to keep your insurance and avoid a gap in coverage, CIP must have either received your PLI premium payment, or confirmation of your intention to pay, before December 31, 2022 which can be done through our new renewal process Before you can purchase PLI for 2023, you will be required to review two questions which will be included in your renewal letter. Depending on your response to these questions, some action may be required. However, this response should not impact your ability to secure or renew your insurance policy.
  • We have scheduled an important webinar with CIP’s insurance broker BMS on Wednesday, October 26 at 1:00 pm ET to review the updated process. Anyone with professional liability insurance should attend this webinar. If you have not yet registered for the webinar, you can do so here.

CPL Deadline

Please ensure your CPL learning units are recorded in the database by the following deadlines. Any CPL entries entered prior to August 14, 2022, will be carried over into the new system.

Additional details on how to record your CPL units will be shared on November 1.
