The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape (SAPL) emphasizes interdisciplinary planning and design, entrepreneurship, and collaboration with industry to prepare students for impactful careers.
Degrees & Programs
The Bachelor of Community Planning introduces students to the foundations of planning practice, from spatial design to community engagement.
The Master of Planning program equips future planners with the knowledge and skills to collaborate with other professionals and community members to create sustainable, vibrant, healthy, and equitable cities and communities.
The SAPL Master of Planning emphasizes form-based planning and uses design studio pedagogy as the primary context for integrating spatial and physical planning with social, environmental and economic dimensions of planning practice and theory.
Students work individually as well in teams – often directly with community associations – to explore planning issues and the role of professional planners.
